Inscribed in Flesh formed in late 2014 as a progressive fish metal band called Prescribed with Fish. After an on-stage shark accident left several members injured, the band left the aquatic life behind and embraced a new direction as Inscribed in Flesh.
Musical influences include Gorod, Necrophagist and Death.
The members of Inscribed in Flesh also perform as rap group Described as Fresh.
